    • Ladies Golf at GCC… FUN is the Name of the Game!

The Women’s Golf Association (WGA) members are friendly, enthusiastic ladies who share a common bond at GCC – the love of golf.  Our goal is to promote good fellowship and to provide an opportunity to enjoy fun competitions and social activities. An important aspect of the WGA is the camaraderie among WGA members as well as the friendships that develop, which can last a lifetime.

Membership is open to players of all skill levels who either have an established handicap or are willing to establish one after joining the WGA.  All women 21 years and older are welcome to join and see what a great experience golfing can be.  We play on Tuesday mornings at 8:00 am (April through October) and 9:00 am (November through March).  We play a variety of fun games including Scrambles, Stroke Play, Blind Partners, and other individual or team events.  We also have various golf tournaments throughout the year, such as our WGA Invitational, WGA Match Play, WGA Guys and Dolls, and WGA Championship.

Annual dues are $25 (plus tax), which includes our Holiday Party in December.  In addition, the WGA participates in the Central Texas Ladies Golf League and Central Texas Ladies’ Traveling 4-Ball League, which provides our members with an opportunity to sign up for competitions at courses throughout Central Texas.  This is a great way to meet fellow golfers and play different clubs throughout the year. The WGA always welcomes new members and would love to have you join us. To check us out, come play as our guest on any regular Tuesday playday.
